short series about the feud between the eponymous families. it’s just a sad testament to the nature of the whole thing. i didn’t realize how intertwined they were in some ways (two of the kids were engaged (married?…i can’t remember) at one point. you’d think they’d want to put it all behind them, but cooler heads never prevailed.
