documentary about the trading pit at a commodities exchange. they don’t do it like this anymore because computers have taken over so this is sort of an historical record of the way things used to be. in the end i came out even less clear on what the hell any of these people are actually doing. all this finance stuff just seems like a way for people to get poor and taken advantage of by smarter, richer people. er, i mean, yay free markets! .
