one of the best movies of the year. i hope they make a series out of it. good action, some suspense, “and a little sex in it.” other than the poor writing for, and acting from, rosamund pike, the film was real solid all around. lately it seems that the hero is on the outskirts of the law – batman, taken, etc. bad ass guys doing the right thing, but usually breaking the law in the process. reacher is more in the mold of the goody two shoes hero. i like both types, but it doesn’t feel like we’ve had the relatively pure heroes as much lately.
