not quite sure why this one received so much hype. it’s reminiscent of many family crime dramas where anything can happen and you get that the protagonist needs to worry about his life/well being all the time. i found it to be a fairly lifeless film, though, and, as a result, i can’t say i would have minded the death of any of the characters. sure, the acting was good and the matriarch was creepy at times, but it never achieved lift off for me.
