Review

solid laughs throughout the entire film. tatum and hill have good chemistry and there are a couple decent supporting characters. generally these buddy comedies, and comedies in general these days, get bogged down by plot in the latter half of the film and lose sight of keeping the laughs going. they get overly sentimental or figure out that they need a bunch of explosions and plot to check things off the list. that didn’t happen here, though, so it was money well spent.
