Reviewprobably the worst of the 30 for 30 documentaries so far. chris evert and martina navratilova were in 80 matches against each other and are two of the best women’s tennis players of all time. they basically talked about their rivalry and tennis for an hour. no other talking heads, no more context or expansion on their rivalry other than what they talked about. there’s plenty of meat between them for a good documentary, but just seeing them talking to each other the whole time was boring. it’s as if the filmmakers were going to make a real documentary about these two women and their great rivalry and got a bunch of interview footage, fell in love with their subjects and decided to just cut what they had. wasted potential.
