a really unexceptional film except for the fact that it’s terrence malick and is weird. really, if a nobody had done this with nobody actors it wouldn’t get any attention as a good film. the cinematography is really good and probably deserves and oscar, but the film is bad other than that. the dinosaurs, the 2001 stuff, the god stuff, it’s just a mess of a film that reeks of daddy issues and pretension. honestly, i could have written about 4 different reviews for this movie, but that would require my caring first.
