Reviewbased on treasure island, this disney pic takes place in space. they lean more heavily on computer animation for the backgrounds especially so it has a different look than the early stuff. not necessarily better or worse, just different. it’s more crisp, but it’s also not as artistic. the main villain is interesting because he’s a sympathetic character and he doesn’t really get punished in the end because, as it turns out, he has a good heart. the true villain is some relatively minor character that gets his due, but doesn’t figure all that prominently. music was below average. morph was a good character and so was the villain (john silver), but no one else was all that interesting.
