Reviewdecent, but odd indie pic about a kid who has trouble fitting in and basically has to take care of his senile uncle (also his sole guardian). it felt longer than it was and had a couple odd scenes, but was fine on the whole. john c. reilly was the driving force as the assistant principal who takes terri under his wing. he’s great at what he does because of his honesty and vulnerability. he screws up, but he’s always well-intentioned and honest about his shortcomings. realistically, that’s all you can ask for in a mentor.
