Reviewrocky with robots. long runtime and a definite cheese factor detract from the film, but honestly it wasn’t as bad as i had expected. spielberg is good at getting good kid-centric films and this is no exception. he only produced it, but it has his stamp in that way. the kid (dakota goyo) was really good and followed well in the footsteps of other spielberg proteges like drew barrymore (e.t.) and dakota fanning (war of the worlds).
