Reviewsomewhat artsy film about a small town girl who is coming of age. has style and substance, but didn’t really grab me. does a good job of capturing what it’s like growing up as a reclusive woman in a small town and having a repressed sexuality and personality in general. definitely captures a certain feeling and was successful in that way. paul newman directs his wife here so it’s interesting for that reason as well.
