watched this just because joseph gordon-levitt was in it. it’s about two boys who are raped as kids and how that experience manifests itself later in life. jgl becomes a gigolo and the other kid becomes an alien chaser (because he has suppressed the memory and thinks he was abducted by aliens instead of raped by his t-ball coach). on the whole it’s a relatively difficult film to watch and i didn’t get much out of it. even for jgl fans i think this one is a pass.
