another surprisingly good late-era disney feature. it’s up there with bolt and atlantis and has the cgi animation of bolt and pixar productions (it’s also a lasseter-produced film so that makes sense). it’s about an inventor kid who travels through time to learn about himself. it’s similar to back to the future in a couple ways, but it’s its own film. like treasure planet it has a likeable villain, but this film is much better than that one. i actually had some feelings for the characters and that’s always a good thing. predictable plot and ending, but that’s no scar on a film made for kids.
