Reviewdocumentary of the book. there’s a good assortment of directors doing each chapter within the film so that keeps things interesting. they don’t cover everything that the book covers, but they do a good job of getting the thrust of the book which is that incentives rule behavior and we should always keep them in mind. it also illustrates just how scheming and immoral humans can be. as a race we pretty much look for the path of least resistance and do that which is in our own self-interest. they conclude that it’s impossible to foresee the consequences of a given policy with the seeming conclusion being that we shouldn’t even try to shape human behavior.
