hadn’t seen this disney film before. it’s about a fox and a hound that grow up together and are good pals until they grow older and they realize they’re supposed to be enemies. the hounds owner turns him into a hunting dog and it doesn’t exactly bode well for their friendship. it’s sad to see them at odds after being so friendly early on, but it recalls the story of the scorpion and the frog. each animal is what it is in the world and they shouldn’t expect anything different, sad as that may be. animation isn’t particularly good, this one is just about the story.
