another documentary about another under-appreciated music act meets a behind the music/some kind of monster type documentary. on its surface that’s what this is, but it’s also about aging and holding onto the past and relationships. i wasn’t especially moved by the story or the arc it followed, but it was also a bit better than the genre usually provides.
