good and influential romantic comedy. reminded me of some woody allen stuff and seinfeld. both leads are good and this is easily the best work nora ephron ever churned out. snappy dialogue and accurate (to my mind) views of the sexes. the aging/maturation of the characters is well done both from a makeup and writing perspective.
