really funny film version of the show everyone knows and (hopefully) loves. some nice gags that play on the fact that it’s a film instead of a tv program. laughed out loud throughout the film. the format allows for plot and gags not necessarily related to plot to be worked in with equal measure. a lot of simpsons episodes, particularly after they found their stride, are frenetically paced. that’s fine, but it’s nice to have a little more time to develop the plot and work in related and unrelated gags along the way.
