joan blondell early 30s pic about a nurse and a detective trying to figure out the truth behind a mysterious death. haven’t seen a lot of blondell pictures, but this one is good. it came out right around the production code and i’m not sure it was thoroughly enforced yet because she shows a decent amount of skin early in the film. it’s a funny and fun little picture worth watching if you’re a fan of her or george brent or 30s stuff.
