Reviewless engaging than the bourne films and more shaky (from a camerawork point of view). there’s more talk and plot here than in those films because this one is much more political and seeks to explain some of the core problems with the occupation immediately following the invasion of iraq. it’s nice to get a ground level view of the impact those decisions from d.c. had, but the overall impression was more complex than it needed to be. it tried to be a political thriller and an action movie, but it didn’t have the clancy touch that usually allows those genres to work together.
