romero with another dead film incarnation here. this isn’t anything special and is completely replaceable by any of the dead films, particularly the good ones (the first three). the white suits and gas masks are a haunting visual that is repeated throughout. the government reaction is also a nice touch, but really these things should have just been worked into dawn of the dead. it predates dawn of the dead so one could argue he was refining his technique here or something. looking forward to the remake.
