this is pretty typical 80s teen flick fare. isn’t john hughes/karate kid quality and isn’t weird like better off dead.

actually has a scene where someone gives an inspirational speech and then some goober starts clapping, as mocked in not another teen movie. only one i can actually remember that happening in.
