i have a dvd of many of corbijn’s music videos, but it’s the only one in the series (that includes romanek, jonze and gondry) that i never really got into. his direction here is decidedly nordic with plenty of open spaces and time to contemplate. it’s a nice little story that didn’t seem to have a point for me, but it was a good enough journey, i suppose.
