Swing Vote

Reviewpretty decent film about a guy who doesn’t care too much about the political process, but his precocious daughter does and gets him into a situation where his single vote will determine the outcome of the presidential election. it’s a crazy premise, but it proves a point about civil duty and apathy and the rest. madeline carroll (the daughter) is really good and the script gives her and costner a good, rounded relationship. a worthwhile film on the whole, though i didn’t think either of the candidates was worth voting for.
