Reviewgood film about 70s race relations and urban blight. it’s made for an african-american audience so there’s the typical evil white cop characters that you see in these films, but it also talks about the role that blacks play in shaping their community. films like this are time capules, shedding light on how things once were. we’ve come a long way, but we still have a ways to go. good from an intellectual standpoint, but wasn’t entirely entertaining.
