Reviewtook a minute for me to get into the tone of the film, but once i got going i was into it. it’s another 1933 film (babyface being the other recent one that i’ve seen) that flaunts the code restrictions. it’s about two guys in love with the same girl and she’s in love with them. they talk openly about premarital sex and the arrangement they make so that all three will be happy is to not have sex. she helps them with their careers and all are happy, at least for a while. it’s a good, funny film. miriam hopkins is really good as are march and cooper. lubitsch does a good job overall.
