probably most notable for alfred newman’s main theme “conquest” which went on to be more famously associated with the usc marching band. great piece of music. tyrone power is good, as is the guy who plays the doctor who takes credit for everything. also interesting historically, though i wouldn’t use this film as a history lesson.
