solid teen flick that touches on all that it means to be a teenager. its remarkable for this reason alone. the way it touches on the cliques, the pressures, the family life, the different types of kids, the adults; it’s all there. judd nelson heads up the great cast and he frankly should have been nominated for an academy here.
