classic pic that i finally got around to seeing. didn’t do a whole heck of a lot for me, but i can see its appeal. the comic book style, the futuristic hell hole that is nyc, the warring gangs, and the realism all make for a good film. a lot of films that take place in the future take things too far, but this one keeps it believeable enough to have an impact.
