hitchcock-esque in its plot of the “wrong man” looking to clear his name. left something to be desired in its execution. it ran longer than it should have and the plot was a bit serpentine for my tastes. the ending was too syrupy sweet. would like to see the original french version as i think this version had the music changed to accommodate american audiences.
