mid-40s noir that looks at psychology (similar to whirlpool, but not as good) and the human mind. the twist with this one is that the wife, who witnesses a murder and goes into shock as a result, is actually a foil for her husband’s psychological shell shock (he’s a recently returned veteran). vincent price is good as the shrink.
