david mamet is hit and miss, and this one is a miss. glengarry glen ross was good and so was untouchables, but everything else is either bad or missable. this one is beyond bad in almost every way. the writing is poor and mamet’s direction is a disaster. there are stilted performances throughout the film and he does nothing to rectify that. don’t waste your time.
