came out the same year as the day the earth stood still. darker look, which is expected from the director of detour (ulmer). some of the dialogue is right out of a cheesy 50s sci-fi flick. oh wait, that’s kinda what this is. engaging enough and a few good artistic touches, not cheesy enough to be really good.
