Reviewreally bad writing and subpar acting lead to a bad film here. doug liman has shown some promise in the past with films like swingers, go, and the bourne identity, but this one falls well short of the mark. the idea is good enough for a film, but the execution lacks. characters could have been more developed, voice-overs should have been eliminated, etc. in writing 101 they tell you to show the reader something, rather than saying it. this film doesn’t get that concept and fails as a result.
