interesting edward g. robinson noir. interesting primarily because of his character’s arc. the ending was a bit flat. solid script. another film (decoy was the other that i saw recently) that addresses the death penalty, though this one showed the repurcussions of an incorrect verdict, whereas decoy used the death penalty as more of a plot device.
