Reviewbasically a season in the life of the circus. too many process shots, not sure why. one scene shows the star of the circus coming back after an injury, everyone else in the circus is greeting him as he walks by the tents. one woman is getting her hair washed and she says to the person washing her hair “why am i always wet when he comes around?” the person washing her hair says “in more ways that one” and then dunks her head into the water. not the wholesome 50s comedy/drama you might think.
charlton heston does a good job in his own over-acting way. the ending is surprising and doesn’t seem to fit the rest of the film, but whatever.
