about 3.5 hours of dealing with middle eastern politics – what a way to spend an evening. newman is fine and the camerawork is notable. written by redlisted, er blacklisted, writer dalton trumbo who also worked on spartacus in 1960 and lonely are the brave, which i saw recently. sort of a cross between ben-hur and the battle of algiers.
