great plot with nice ending. gangster is going to the gas chamber, but finds an antidote and his girl gets in with the prison doctor who will administer the drug afterwards so that the gangster will be able to escape prison – in a casket. definitely a second billing type picture with a bunch of no-name actors (for a reason), but it’s good nonetheless. viva la noir.
