good, not great, ridley scott espionage film centered in the mid-east. there’s a lot going on here and the film drags a bit as a result. the overly serpentine plot serves a purpose, i just don’t know that it’s entirely necessary that things be this complex to essentially show how self-serving and manipulative all the top level characters are. good performances.
