unfortunately this film was essentially what i thought it was going to be. other than the hot french chick this movie doesn’t have much going for it. i decided to watch it because slumdog millionaire made me remember how good danny boyle can be so i figured i’d give this one the benefit of the previous doubt. leo didn’t do much and the script meanders about without really engaging the audience. the ending is completely flat. boyle usually does a good job with music, but this one featured some standards off of moby’s “play.”
