smart script with fine performances from ferrell, gyllenhaal (the other one), and thompson. it’s a nice and poignant story, but it does leave me wondering what the moral is. perhaps there isn’t one, or perhaps it’s as simple as living one’s live in the now. forster captures the tone with his direction perfectly.
