second jewison picture in the last couple weeks, though this one was more similar to schlessinger’s marathon man than it was to jewison’s thomas crown affair. michael caine does a good job as an ex-nazi being hunted down by a jewish organization out to kill the last vestiges of nazi power in france. caine’s character was interesting and the role of the catholic church would be of interest to eastwood, bunuel and my dad.
