with steve mcqueen you know you won’t be disappointed. politically this film is as relevant today as it was during the vietnam era. it involves a gun boat crew in china in the 20s that gets caught up in their revolution. mcqueen plays a character that is a cross between his character in great escape and hell is for heroes.
