saw this one with my cousin jessica. oftentimes a comedy gets bogged down by its storyline, this is one of those occasions. vaughn is good, though it’s a pg film so he’s forced to restrain himself a bit, and so is giamatti. it runs a little long because of the sprawling plot, and that in turn takes a bit of the sharpness away from the comedy. funny in the beginning, sags in the end.
