a complementary trio of films, as it turns out. all are about appreciating life in some way. aka don bonus is a documentary about a high school senior from cambodia who now lives in sf. it’s not much more than a video diary, but this simplicity and his story are enough to move and provoke thought. it’s a rare film to find and i happen to have seen it three times. now that i have it in my collection i can die a happy man.
