short about a young man and woman who are in a diner and have the hots for each other, but don’t have the guts to approach the other. the colors were bright and oppressive without reason. the end left me a bit sad because the woman leaves and the potential connection is missed, but it wasn’t anymore sad than the idea itself. that is, the idea of someone getting cancer is sad, just because that idea is conveyed in a film doesn’t mean that the film did a good job. sure, it didn’t detract from the already sad event, but it didn’t add to it either.
