Reviewhancock hasn’t ever done a really good movie and this one is no exception to that statement. i understand that this film brought together a lot of budding talent, but none of them were really exceptional here. nelson was pretty good and the others were varying degrees of mediocre. none of the characters were worthwhile and the direction was bland. some of the writing was good, but most of it was pretty run-of-the-mill. the storylines were often pretty outrageous, but the film felt like it was going more for realism. soundtrack is dated, and not in the endearing “breakfast club” sorta way.
