a really uninteresting installment of the horror series. this one stretches the viewer’s disbelief to the limit and doesn’t even provide a very substantial surprise ending. the direction style officially crosses over into the realm of annoying, after only flirting with it in the second installment. the writing in this one is just bland, stale, and unimaginative. put the nail in this coffin.
