Reviewwell-written, shot and acted picture about two very different men who meet in mexico city. brosnan plays a wonderfully off-kilter killer who reminded me of the dude (lebowski) just a little bit. he’s aloof and self-involved, uncaring, unique and somehow likable – so long as he’s onscreen and not in your living room. kinnear, meanwhile, is so prosaic and average that he’s likable relative to brosnan. they make a good team here. it’s primarily a film based on character, but there’s plenty of plot to chew on for those who are into that. a solid and unusual film.
