Reviewthree movies with one word titles. expected this movie to be pretty bad, but it wasn’t. that’s not to say that it was great either. whatever success it has is owed primarily to the few salient points it manages to raise about forgiveness and non-violence. i think that mlk said something to the effect of “non-violence is the sword that heals.” this movie doesn’t get that poetic, but it tries. i hope that sean penn is able to laugh in real life because god knows he doesn’t do it in his movies.
